Cohesion technology is about finding the best ways to bring people together; whether through human networks, digital tools, or new platforms. In a world full of events, groups, and initiatives working toward similar goals, we often operate in silos. Fortunately, when we come together, we are able to accomplish so much more.
We're exploring how to connect these dots; bringing together the people who bring people together to share resources and knowledge.
The goal of the summit is to find the overlap in people's dreams and projects regarding bringing people together, using digital or in-person technologies. When mission aligned, 3 people working together have a greater output than 3 people working alone.
At the Cohesion Summit, we're gathering to:
Through shared envisioning and tapping into our collective consciousness, we will be able to coalesce goals and cooperate on them for a more connected and loving world.
We're facing a predicament; not just isolated problems but intersecting crises that require collective action. When we create robust interdisciplinary social networks, we foster a sense of safety and community.
This safety enables cooperation on goals for the greater good. When people feel held by their basin of community, they're more willing to send out beacons to others, creating ripple effects of connection and collaboration.
Whether through apps, platforms, or human systems, we're open to all solutions that create beacons drawing people into basins of community.
Aggregating the aggregators: We're superconnecting the superconnectors; gathering those who naturally bring others together to share knowledge and coordinate efforts. By creating unfakeable signals of trust, we can spark ripple effects throughout Toronto's communities.
Human as the technology: People serving as the recommendation engine, building a culture of aggregation where communities actively share what's happening. But we're also exploring digital tools that could amplify these human connections.
Together, we'll design systems that make care visible and create non-event based connections; building relationships in daily life, not just at formal gatherings.
If you're someone who brings people together; whether through events, communities, or just being a good neighbor; we want you there. Let's coordinate our efforts and amplify our impact.
Together, we can build the connections that build community.
